Ambassadors

Well, In my opinion you should send ambassadors to all coutries you want! If you agree one ambassador more money then you will receive more informations because he will have parties to hear the newest info!
What do you think?

Good idea.

And i think there shoul be a system, so the ambassadors will be better in their work, according on the time they are in one country.

yeah, just a bit more important..... w/o embassies you shouldn`t be able to create protectorates and you diplomatic efficiency should be lousy at best. otoh embassies sholud be expensive

On the same instance, to make up a little for the cost, they could be staging point for spying/sabotage missions.

Sounds imperialistic

and nice. additionally to the embassies we need a system for diplomats, e.g. the civ or eu kind of diplomacy. In CIV you could contact another civilization infinitely but if you contact them too often in a short time, the ai reacts as "ey, you were last yesterday here, so why should be talk again". in eu you got regenerative diplomats.
I prefer the civ kind of diplomaty, even because Nationalism gets roundbased too.
